If only!

The 2:05PM from NYP-WAS on Sunday was so packed that even standing room was at a premium. Apparently, they knew it was going to be extremely heavy traffic that afternoon, so they added a 1:55PM departure with the word "Acela" in the name on the board, so of course many who had unreserved tickets waited for the 2:05PM figuring the 1:55 was a reserved train (never an announcement either way on that). To add insult to injury, the guy on the platform talked to us like we were idiots when we "detrained" because of the crowds, asking why we hadn't boarded the 1:55PM. We told him there had been no announcement, and he said he wasn't in charge of what went on upstairs. Helpful!
