It looks like flights from Toronto or JFK are the same when it comes to flights for points, so it'll probably be easier to just drive to toronto (1.5 hours) vs fly to JFK (1.5 hour flight plus layover). I like the idea of a direct to Europe, and I can catch Delta, air France, or Air Canada from Toronto. 60 K/ticket coach 125K/ticket Business Class.

Thanks for the advice on the hotels too. I figured I'd leverage most of my points for the flights, and then pay $$ for the hotels, or get an apartment somewhere. I'm running into issues finding hotels that have multiple beds that arent' singles and our kiddo can't stay in a room by herself yet. But I'll keep researching.

I forgot that SPG points weren't one to one. I was wondering why the points looked so cheap. I can totally leverage a card flip for points as well. I'm due a new card somewhere.

Now we just have to decide if we want to go during winter break - Feb or Easter Break - End of March.
