Apologies if there's a thread on this already, I've had a look but can't find the answer!

I have Avios to spare and thought it would be good to use them for 7 days car hire in the US, but it seems that the car has to be returned to the original pick up point. Is it possible to call Avis after the booking is made to have the drop off point changed?
