Any way around phone to ticket a held reservation?

I currently have a reservation on hold until tomorrow night. I placed it on hold with the intent to book immediately but wanted to check the agent's work and lucky I did because they typed a name wrong. It had to be corrected which took 3 days to do, leaving me with two days to book the reservation. As luck would have it I had an international trip planned the day I saw that my ticket had been corrected. I tried calling multiple times today but each time I was told a hold time of somewhere between 40 and 90 minutes. I tried a couple times to have them call back but couldn't get the call because of flights. One time I was able to answer and the agent that called me could not do the booking (international award), put me on hold, and I had to hang up since we were taking off.

Now I am out of the country and only have access to WiFi calling. The WiFi is not the most stable and I am still getting 30-60 minute hold times. I have tried at least 5 times over the last few hours. I don't have a number for them to call me back. If I could hold my place in line then call back to have a short wait time I could do that but it's apparently not possible. The Twitter team is entirely unhelpful, telling me to book online (after I told them the record locator so they should have known it's not possible) and telling me the long wait times are due to "high call volume" as if that wasn't obvious.

Do I have any other options that don't involve a 30-60 minute hold?
