Overnight connection - does first flight mean code shared flight or AC metal?
Later in August, I want to go from YOW to SFO via YVR.
I would like to stay overnight in Vancouver, make a connection with next morning's "first flight" to SFO.
The first flight is a UA flight leaving at 6 AM (but AC codeshares on it); the first AC (metal) flight leaves at 7:55 AM.
Would I have to take the UA flight, or "the first legal connecting flight" be the AC flight?
