Ten-trip Amtrak tickets

I have a couple of questions about the ten-trip tickets that Amtrak offers in the Northeast Corridor (as well as other corridor markets in Chicago and California). Not much information seems to be available except for the fact that these
tickets are available, and are good for 45 days from their date of purchase.

1) Are these tickets transferable between people? If so, can they be used for more than one person at once (i.e. two punches for two riders)?

2) If one is riding on a ten-trip ticket, does one still need to make reservations for reserved trains, and if so, how?

Thanks to anyone who might know these things!
