Yes, it does help the FA to get compliments, particularly an event such as yours will mean a lot from a personal and professional perspective. Just a note to everyone, if you get particularly good service, please take the time to write a note. (You can imagine the high percentage of complaints that an airline gets...you will make several employees' days if you write a compliment.)
What works even better is when you write a glowing praise letter about an employee just as she is ending her probation review, and she ends up as station lead at your major spoke connect....
