W Lakeshore is my favorite Starwood in Chicago. I don't know how they use the SNAs but if they do, it's a great choice. I spent 2 big birthdays there and they went way, way out of their way to make me and my family welcome. We had a gorgeous 2 bedroom suite with a huge living room area (and pull-out sofa) overlooking the lake and Navy Pier.

I didn't care for the other W, and it's been awhile since I visited the Sheraton there. I didn't care much for the Westin.

If you're considering staying near O'Hare, the Sheraton there is ALL SUITES. I'm staying tomorrow night there and Sunday night. It was remodeled and has a lounge. The Westin O'Hare was nice, but I prefer the Sheraton O'Hare. The prices are usually about the same, and with Sheraton O'Hare you're getting a suite no matter what w/o using your SNA.

I'd guess, though, that you'd rather stay IN Chicago, and for me, that means W Lakeshore. Their rates lately have been extremely reasonable.
