FYI - the PP card is a World Elite MasterCard ... and thus one gets National status as a World Elite benefit. They used to offer this with Avis but MasterCard seems to have switched its benefits away from Avis as well. Details here. (MasterCard is currently having IT issues linking the t the National program but they promise it should all be up in a few days.)
