That is a fair point. My personal bias however is that I want absolute quiet at night. Others like really cold AC, or three star food. Peace and quiet is my one, non-negotiable thing. So for me, it could be North Island or Necker or The Brando, but if it was noisy it just wouldn't matter. Do tell us the hotel, especially if they manage a reasonable service recovery. I do think that refunding one night wouldn't be unreasonable under the circumstances.
