She even tried to go this morning to get the bag checked, but stupid AS won't accept checked bags more than 4 hours before departure. Never heard of such a rule with any other airline. With AA/UA, I've always managed to check bags in anytime during the day of departure.
United:
For flights within the U.S., as well as most international flights, baggage will generally not be accepted for check-in more than four hours before scheduled flight departure
Southwest:
Customers checking luggage may do so up to four hours before scheduled departure
JetBlue:
Baggage will NOT be accepted for check in more than six hours prior to a flight's scheduled departure time.
Looks pretty standard.
