My friend is flying out of ORD and she's afraid of a long line at check-in to check her bag. It's bigger than what would be allowed for a carryon. If she's stressed for time, would she be able to just take that bag with her through security and then check the bag at the gate? She's already got her boarding pass with her. Would TSA care about her bag's size?
