I have received triple points applied this month from my new Westpac Airpoints Platinum Mastercard and also last week received A$200 bonus airpoints and 60 bonus status points from my new ANZ Platinum Airpoints Visa.
Both cards are new but I applied for them late March ahead of a trip we did in April to Europe. I guess the spend on the trip may have helped as I don't recall the ANZ offering that bonus when I applied (I simply wanted to replace my BNZ card and applied to both Westpac and ANZ to ensure I had a spare card in case of blocking etc - in the end both worked well).
Hoping the bonuses might help me regain *G that I lost after a change of job and less int business travel (you do get used to the perks and flying up front!).
