You could also choose to fly SQ for personal trips, but the fare classes that give 100% mileage accrual are crazy expensive and mathematically speaking not (usually) worth the extra money.
Yeah, just swipe everything to the credit card and slowly build up the miles. It's not worth paying for the 100% mileage fare (you could fly MH J with that money).
