"SAN JOSE, Calif. -- San Jose is on the verge of becoming the Bay Area's hub for cheap travel.


NBC11 News has learned that JetBlue will announce Wednesday that it will begin flying into the South Bay just in time for summer vacations.


The discount airline should have a big impact on travel prices. The JetBlue flight from San Jose to New York City will cost $238 roundtrip, but a similar flight on one of the larger airlines would cost almost a hundred dollars more. "
