The F cabin on the A380 is excellent. The F cabin on the A340 is average.
I have flown on both aircraft a number of times in F, and actually slept quite well on both.
The A340's have poor IFE, but DOH-LHR is a night-flight so you may choose to sleep opposed to watch movies/tv.
