Interestingly enough, last night I stopped by a brand new Walmart NM and attempted to buy some sunnies with AGC and the cashier requested a ton of information from me (name, address, license number, etc) just to have my purchase get denied by the POS for being credit. He told me that I couldn't buy credit with credit at which point i just walked away (the guy was being a real Richard noggin).
He was filling out a CTR or engaging in the AML record-keeping required for currency-based purchases. Yes, yes, I know that a properly-trained clerk would not fill out a Currency Transaction Report for a credit or debit based purchase. But we are talking about WM, here.
