Let me put it this way, 29 years experience as a commercial barrister tells me that should you be foolish enough to take this to court then you will be on course for a good hiding.
If that is your only 'basis' for a claim, well ... ....
First of all, what experience do you have with French law? Or Swedish? Danish? etc. This would have nothing to do with English law you know. Or what experience do you have with the EU's Electronic Commerce Directive (just one example)?
And secondly, as you are a barrister, under what legal basis would one deny such a claim? Just repeating "it has no basis" isn't a very convincing argument.
