A note on BUD - it is pretty much an LCC airport these days. For instance, at security you must buy your 1l plastic bag for liquids. If travelling on star or others, one needs priority pass or similar.
Also (i haven't exited to the city since Malev was around) all operations have moved to terminal 2 which is much further away from the city.
