If TG was serious about this, they'd probably do what MH is doing (fairly severe cutbacks and fleet streamlining). I'd imagine a lot of Europe and the single USA route would be on the chopping block.
TG should engage in severe cutback and fleet streamlining. Like MH, it would involve huge layoffs which seem unlikely at TG. I also strongly doubt that TIPs are willing to see TG become a simple regional airline with very few longhaul flights like MH. The argument will be that the Thai tourism industry needs TG flying to all these European destinations, although that is hardly needed for Thai tourism (but surely is for TIPs).
