Oh, the NTSB finished their investigation already? Interestingly enough, they are now investigating the possibility that the train was struck by something that ended up distracting the engineer. Could be a lot more than simple human error that led to the crash.

Personally, I'd feel a heck of a lot safer on pretty much any US mass transit than I do sometimes in my personal vehicle. Agree with the previous poster- how many people died in US car accidents in the time it took the first responders to reach the victims?
