Coach class, Emirates packs them in like sardines in a very uncomfortable 3-4-3 config whereas Delta goes 3-3-3. Huge advantage to DL again.
Delta's inflight service might not match that of Emirates but its not like its abysmal. Delta does a pretty decent job and if I was flying in J or Y, the best way to go would be Delta.
The M3's personal attack on RA is both immature and unethical. If they don't like the stance and opinion of RA and the US3, they can at least keep things professional and clean. I have lost all respect for these bumbling idiots that run the M3. Attacking RA and Delta Air Lines the way they have kind of makes you wonder if maybe they really do play unfairly with huge sums of money that mysteriously appear in the M3 coffiers.
Much better product, right. How many awards is Delta winning these days for their "much better product"? I wonder how a 1, 2, or 3 hour domestic flight on Delta compares to a 1, 2 or 3 hour flight on Emirates (anywhere in the middle east). 3-4-3 in economy is not very uncomfortable as you say, and I have never heard anyone say that DL is "superior" in Y compared to EK or any other airline for that matter. I'd say they are better than American, better than United. I think you meant to say that DL has a "much better product" than AA/UA (or another domestic carrier)...
ME3 invests back into new aircrafts, hard/soft product, and expanding faster than ever. Delta invests back into hiring private investigators for 2 years, and coming up with a report that is being shot down and likely won't produce much. But I'm sure they'll make up the wasted money by raising ticket costs and reducing the first class snack basket by half the items.
