As to internet, it is very possible, even likely, that Google, the NSA, maybe even AC knows who I am. But I would be surprised if my employer would.

And I suspect even if my employer were told by one of these organizations in the know, they would decline to accept the information and that would be the end of the matter.

In earlier times, I would post on Usenet using my name and affiliation. There were a couple of cases that someone who did not like something I wrote complained to my employer. With no serious consequences.

Of course, posting about AC employees and with enough information that they can be identified might well lead to consequences.
I'm sure many of us here could end several or many AC careers if we disclosed things.
