My wife, kids and I are traveling from DEN to Cancun for the first time internationally on SW. I was hoping to get some insight into the process on both the outbound and returning flights since we haven't flown international or into/out of the Cancun airport before.

Also, I've read some mixed comments on here about problems getting TSA Precheck for international flights on SW. I noticed my known traveler number wasn't automatically included when I booked my flight so I called and added it, but I've seen others report that didn't matter.

Lastly, what will having Global Entry do for me on this flight? If my wife and kids don't have it, is it going to help at all getting through customs on the return flight?
