This is getting way off topic...
Anyway, I would just like to say that I've flown with both AA and JetBlue, and if JetBlue were to fly to Tucson I'd partonize them almost exclusively. I'm PLT with AA and earned ~600,000 total miles in AAdvantage, but would give it up for
1) 24 channel TVs at every seat. On AA, I fly mostly MD-80s, which have no entertainment system whatsoever.
2) Brand new A320s. I'd take them over AA's aging MD-80s every day.
3) Leather seats. True, with AA's MRTC the seat pitch is a couple of inches more, but JetBlue's seat pitch is nonetheless comparable to other major airlines.
4) On-time performance is signficantly better than that of AA.
5) Good choice of inflight snacks. AA recently eliminated meals from most coach flights. I often fly TUS-DFW-LGA or TUS-ORD-LGA, and on these routes I usually don't get more than a tiny bag of pretzels and half a can of coke on AA flights.
6) Consistently friendly and competent employees. With AA, it's been a mixed bag.
7) Last but not least, cheaper fares!
