I have a thought. If you are traveling as a couple, would it be a good choice to sit 1A/2A or 3A/4A, to avoid the moving seat mate issue? At least you could have a bit more control over what happens in the adjoining seat.

My other choice would have been 2A/2D, so that I could face into my companion. But a good night's sleep seems a better option.
