We're leaving on a trip to Turkey in 10 days' time from India. We have Indian passports, which have two laminated personal data sides, the front one with the photo, name, passport no etc, and the back one, with info such as parents' names and old passport number.
Now, my mother's current passport is stapled to her old passport, as in new passport's back page is stapled to old passport's first page. This in itself is not a problem and is common. But one of the staple pins seems to have a hole than what I'm comfortable with, on the last page of the new passport. It's still very small, and not peeling off, but it seems to have caused a break in the cover.
Is there any problem? Any personal experience?

I've seen passports that look like they've been dragged behind a car. I wouldn't worry about it.
