It's like this company doesn't know what their core customers want in a useful tool. Talk about detached from the marketplace.
Bug bounty programs are
incredibly common and are now starting to show up outside traditional tech companies. This really isn't targeted at the general public but rather white hats and security specialists.
It's a good idea on United's part though some of their rules are more restrictive than most other bug bounties (and I don't know how thrilled anyone will be about getting paid in miles).
