These J seats on the 788 fleet (and also on the 77D fleet as JonNYC pointed out) have a flaw so fundamental that it is difficult to understand how they made it through the design and testing phases let alone the manufacturing and installation phases. Sad to say but I think AA has a real problem with these seats that needs to be addressed ASAP. Does anybody from corporate read these posts?
