Price-wise they are about the same for the rooms we are looking at and both are relatively close to Penn Station (she will be taking the train) I haven't stayed at either, but they appear to have the same standards for their accommodations. I'm both a Kimpton Karma and SPG member, but expect few "extras" at both aside from free internet. Given that they seem utterly similar, would anyone know anything that might swing me one way or another?
I think the Eventi staff is great, and the suites are awesome (if you are a Karma member you'll probably get an upgrade)

I like the Chatwal and stay there whenever my rate permits, but I think Eventi is probably a better place for a girls weekend.
