Yes we have people around that could help but this is the same people that can't answer a smart phone, forget easily, so yes we do get bad photos at times but if someone is taking my picture now I say take 3 please.
I always take 3-4 pictures when helping out someone else, and then ask if they're okay before wandering off. I'd feel bad about leaving them with a crappy picture, which is much easier to do with a phone than a proper camera.
Also, front cameras do tend to be lower quality than the rear cameras, so you are better off asking someone else if you want a better resolution photo.
