Definitely worth it for a variety of reasons. Top on my list is the shorter lav line in the front cabin. The waits for the lavatories on this flight become quite long by the end of the flight, and the lavs themselves become quite messy. As far as the rest of the flight experience, it totally hinges on the cabin crew. Some I've experienced are fantastic and give great service, some are horrible and hide for most of the flight in the rear of the aircraft with the curtain drawn. YMMV.
Regarding the food, it'll be interesting to see how the food in Y changes in June with UA's "enhancements". I was told by a senior FA on a recent EWR-DEL flight (who only works EWR-DEL / EWR-BOM) that UA is also replacing their overseas food vendors as part of the change. Which is great news, the food BOM-EWR has been pretty poor every time I've flown it in Y. It has always been safer to go with the veg option on that particular flight.
