People may even be willing to pay (a little) more for something only marginally better - 2x2 seating with 34" pitch, for example.

If only BA would go back on the offensive and be more innovative again...
But reducing the seating pitch was an innovation on BA's part. Just one a lot of people didn't like! It might, however, make them more money. Time will tell.
