Also, the nonsense of not revealing the gate assignment but only D1 or E4 would prevent people from easily checking the status of their inbound aircraft.
I don't think this would affect only DL flights but any flights bound for the US.
But anyway after reading this again, I'm now wondering if the PDC is just to ask you the "Who packed your bags?" questions.
