Incorrect. In most instances you'll go over $40 with that order. And there are many reports of hotel wrongly charging tax and tip, or backcharging an inflated delivery charge (which they did to me).
the actual physical plant (hotel level of design and finishing) is great.
The rooms are nice. But the public spaces are thoroughly unimpressive (apart from the pool, which is still nowhere near PH Tokyo for wow factor). There's not even a real lobby.
I agree with the comments upthread, there are at least a dozen more appealing properties in Manhattan at this price point.
