Effective May 20, 2015, this will affect passengers departing on all flights to the United States.

Upon arrival at the airport, check in at the Delta counter/kiosk as usual.
The gate information displayed on your boarding pass will direct you to your designated PDC. Flight information monitors throughout the airport will also display the gate number of the PDC assigned for your flight.
Following the screening process, you will receive a receipt indicating your flight’s departure gate and boarding time. Gate information screens inside the terminal will only show D1 or E4.
Additionally, starting June 3, 2015, passport control will be located in a single security area located on the mezzanine level above the check-in area and the transfer points. After going through this centralized security checkpoint, you may proceed to the PDC listed on your boarding pass.
Please note, it is recommended that you arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior to an international flight. Passengers must be checked in at least 60 minutes before their scheduled departure time and be at the gate, ready to board at least 50 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Delta counter/kiosk at AMS? Did i miss something? 'Greece with wings' aka KLM will never let this happen.
D1 and E4 are at the very beginning of the D and E pier, wonder if there will be priority lines.
Bet it will not displayed on a lot of BP, especially the one on your smartphone or when pax are connecting @ AMS and have a BP issued at an outerstation. Those pax will walk straight to gate.

Also talked with two security employees, they still need to be briefed and at the moment not really know how things are going to work (except that the only change will be security at the gate will be changed to central security)
This sounds like a big mess, with DL passengers essentially going through security twice, but still being allowed to mingle with other passengers and others before boarding, so what's the point? Also, since when are international passengers required to be at the gate by T-1 hour? Arriving at the airport three hours early sounds like FCO right now, after their fire.

Can people ticketed to fly DL through AMS get a waiver to cancel, postpone or change their flights?
