BA baggage policy is 3 bags 70 LBs each + 1 extra bag as OWE. Although I think BA will let me take 3 bags and will check them to DEL, I am concerned about 9W.

Do I need to call AA and ask them to make it 3 x 70 LBs bags on ticket or will Jet guys know that BA is MSC and the policy is 3x 70 LBs?

With it being a single through ticketed itinerary , then the bags should be checked through to the destination

If however you do have 2 bookings, one for BA and another for EY / 9W then the allowances for the EY/9W journeys will be different

I understand that other airlines may not honor the extra OWE allowance.
