true... but underground parking garage has its own risks.
12 years ago, my aunt bought a spanking-new Mercedes S500. her apartment building garage was underground... yes, you guessed it, the garage flooded during a bad storm. she didn't have one of those new car replacement insurance policies, so the insurance company only paid her the ACV, so she took a pretty big loss on a 5-month old new Mercedes S500.
