I'm flying back from a conference in Edinburgh to LHR on Friday evening. I'll have my carry-on suitcase and need to also transport a A0 poster tube. Obviously this tube is outside allowed dimensions. Do you think I'll get away without having to check it in. If not I'll chuck the tube and fold the poster (I'd prefer not to though!). Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere but similar threads didn't mention having both a carry-on suitcase in addition to a poster tube.
