Yeah, it sucks. I was #1 with 0 available on ATL-LAX last Monday, on a full Y ticket. I was stuck in coach, asked for some pringles, tried to use an expired coupon and the FA caught it. She said, "Sorry sir, it's expired". I said, "You win! Congratulations." My seatmate chuckled and that was it, for five hours. I watched the one free movie and some TV.
Ouch. Its called "First Loser" - what my dad called me when i ran second in track. Thanks Dad. Next generation did a bit better on the parenting front.
