Inventory vs. Seat Map
Hi folks,
I know very well that seat map is not an indicator of available seats (many posts here on FT make that very clear ) but I was curious as to just how different it is compared to listed inventory.

For example, I'm on UA128 on 5/16 and already have a confirmed upgrade. I look at the seat map and more than half of the BF seats are shown as empty. Yet when i check the flight in expert mode it shows J9 and every other BF bucket is 0 (C, D, Z, etc). Could all of those seats really be sold but not assigned? Seems strange to me so I thought I'd ask for the expert FT opinions!
