So you are essentially wanting to double dip. I would consider that to be "asking a bit much". In fact, it's threads like this I'm sure that airlines like AC read and go...well, maybe we won't status match at all then (which is practically the case). I was VERY grateful for AC status matching me. When someone's nice to me, I show gratitude. I don't ask for "more".
