Personally I think they're rather tacky and don't fit with anything else in the tableware / cabin. The colour also makes me think of VS

First world problem if ever there was one.

Incidentally, I've always wanted to do the DME flight in F - not too long, no jet lag - but not sure how badly I want to visit MOW..
I quite like the purple glass, makes it look like it's not just water!!! Go for the DME in F, no jet lag and, honestly, Moscow is utterly amazing, just be sure to go for a reasonable hotel and it will be great. Every corner you turn has a wow moment ... I got the last two tickets to the Bolshoi Ballet, just by chance, about two weeks before arriving, and it was a life-changing experience.

And given current instability, politically and economically, I wanted to go before either got worse, no matter how much better the former makes for the strength of the GBP.
