If I were seeking a status match, I don't think I would bother crediting anything to that airline until I knew the match was confirmed. So to yank it away after only 33 days is pretty useless.



Something is tell me that we do not have the full story from Keitherson. I know someone who got status match with AC on the condition that he had to start flight AC metal within 30 days. He did and has held SE for a few years now. The think Keitherson doe's not fly much and has been playing games with different airlines getting them to match so he holds status somewhere. Maybe AC just figured things out or ask UA for his flight records and found out the truth.
