Interesting read - thanks. But I have to say that I really don't think your age has any bearing on how you are treated. Plenty of people in F who are younger than "mid thirties" - certainly on the flights I take.
Really hope your trip to Japan is more memorable. If it's not, will you then consider other airlines or stick with them no matter what?
