Regardless, if you're paying your own money, it probably wouldn't matter much anyway.
EDIT: The new Emerald Aisle website makes it easier to track your award credits. I looked at it and padstack seems to be correct: the last time I rented using the Ohio rate, I did not get the credit. That's interesting because last fall, I did get "One Two Free" promo credit for such a rental.
I guess this could matter at the margins but, realistically, a credit is worth about $10 and these codes almost always save you much, much more than that.
I agree the savings are worth it when it's your own money. I mostly travel for work though and at least attempt to be a "company guy" and help the budget. I just have to go back to the Honeywell code...
