Does anyone have experience with the activation fee? I see in the T&C that you need to have the phone 'activated'. Does this mean I need to pay the $40 activation fee on each phone even though I'm not upgrading them? I ask because I have 2 4G phones I'm swapping out and could just simply put the old SIM cards in and not have to pay the extortion, I mean activation fee. If I do that will they not consider these phones activated on the AT&T network even though I'm using the phones and the existing lines and numbers are still on?
