Follow up question for those cards where you don't need to use the card to purchase. Does it matter who makes the reservation (i.e. who "traveller #1" is)? So let's say I make a reservation for 4 people while signed in to my account with Delta. My wife who is on the reservation (and whose FF# I enter for her) has the Delta card but I don't. Will the baggage allowance be available?

Basically will airlines scan the FF# of all travellers on the reservation to see who has allowances or just the first traveller.
