In T3 the CISF are pretty nitpicky and a pain indeed. Technically you are only allowed up 4h before departure. They do have a holding pen once you are on the checkin level, where people with departures >4h are held back and wait for checkin to open. 12h in the middle of the night will be tough.
Actually no bookings have been made yet because we are waiting for her Schengen-visa. Can you help me that whats the easiest way for her and which airline i should use between KTM-DEL? Finnair is leaving Delhi only in morning time 10:30 and i havent find flights for early morning to the KTM-DEL route. Tribhuvan airport is always unsure and tbhere is lots of delays so i think its good to have many hours gap between the flights. ^
