I'm Silver and on a TUL-SLC round-trip. I got upgraded at the gate on the outbound so I didn't get Sky-Priority at airport check-in or on my checked bag label.
But 2 days out from the return, the flight shows the Sky-Priority logo, even though it still shows me sitting in an exit row with "Upgrade Requested".

I do know from a co-worker who is Gold that they haven't processed the gold upgrades yet either. There are 5 F seats open out of 12, and the back isn't overly full.

UGs are especially a delight when you are Silver.
I remember getting one myself too (as a Silver) some years back.
Surprised the hell out of me.
It was a Gate UG as well.
